Job summary

Tolko Industries Ltd. in Armstrong, British Columbia, is seeking Weekend Cleanup Employees to help keep our EcoLogo-certified Armstrong plywood mill clean and safe. This role supports the production and trades teams with training provided, and no prior experience is required.

The ideal candidate is a full-time student, 18+, able to work weekends and holidays, with strong communication and the ability to work independently. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

  • Must be a student enrolled in full-time study.
  • Commitment to working safely.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

  • Do general cleanup throughout the mill.
  • Support our tradespersons to ensure hot work is carried out safely.
  • Be a solid team player and work collaboratively across your team.

We’re looking for a Weekend Cleanup Employees to join ourEcoLogo-certified facilitylocated inArmstrong, British Columbia.OurArmstrong Plywood Divisionsafely and sustainably produces 195 million square feet of plywood every year f orcustomers around the worldso they can build their homes and their communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Must be astudentenrolled infull time study.
  • Commitment to working safely.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to worka variety of shifts, includingweekends and holidays.
  • Ability towork independentlywith little supervision.
  • Must be18 years or olderdue to employment standards legislation.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial environment is an asset.
