Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Event Specialist, managing inbound business inquiries and ensuring seamless event experiences. Guide clients through the event cycle with attention to detail, using tools like Delphi and Social Tables to share accurate information. Your excellent service will delight clients and encourage repeat business. If you’re passionate about events and creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you!

The Day to Day:

  • Network and build relationships with clients
  • Communicate with clients, gather details, prepare packages, and confirm events
  • Use sales tools to close leads, including proposals and site tours
  • Follow up post-events to generate new bookings
  • Provide superior customer service to encourage repeat events
  • Pay attention to details and ask key questions during planning
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines for BEOs and client requests
  • Contribute to sales targets with accurate forecasts
  • Collaborate with team members to meet venue goals
  • Identify and present great business opportunities for management
  • Anticipate operational and kitchen needs
  • Maintain a positive attitude and presence

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Hospitality
  • At least 2 years of experience coordinating or executing events
  • Experience with private dining functions is preferred
  • Knowledge of equipment and rentals is an asset
  • Administrative, marketing, and sales experience is an asset
  • Restaurant experience is an asset
  • Team player with self-motivation and independence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and sales ability
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
