Job Description:
Position Summary

Assist in managing daily operations to meet contractual standards in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner. Support the development and implementation of asset management and maintenance programs aligned with approved guidelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with Webber Infrastructure Global Standards.

**Please note that this position does not start until 2025.**

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Contract Manager to establish support systems for contract obligations related to quality, safety, environmental standards, procurement, and scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports (OPS, HSE, Change Order Summary, Extra Work).
  • Monitor project schedules, ensure legislative and regulatory compliance, and oversee daily operations for contractual adherence.
  • Facilitate training programs in Quality Assurance, Safety, Environmental practices, and Continual Improvement.
  • Recommend resource and training needs to the Contract Manager.
  • Coordinate with other business groups to implement governance and improve key processes.
  • Manage the HSE Hazard Register and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure understanding and enforcement of governance processes, regulations, and legislation.
  • Report statistical and performance data to management regularly.
  • Contribute to the development and review of industry/site procedures to meet global standards and contractual requirements.
  • Act as the primary representative on quality issues within operations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase productivity, and enhance safety and quality.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and foster strong relationships with team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure proper use of PPE and safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of asset management, road maintenance, repair, and construction.
  • Adaptability to changing environments.
  • Effective negotiation, coordination, and planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Customer-focused with excellent organizational skills.
  • Understanding of safety policies and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Safety awareness and hazard recognition skills.
  • Ability to communicate safety instructions effectively.
  • Focus on safety and proper PPE usage.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in asset management or related areas.
  • 2-3 years of industry experience; management/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good record.
  • Professional Engineering License (highly desired).
Work Conditions / Physical Demands

Work Environment: Office and field visits with some travel required.

Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting, occasional standing/walking, manual dexterity, and visual focus. Use of PPE required.
