Job summary

ScotiaMcLeod, a cornerstone of Scotia Wealth Management, seeks an Investment Associate to support a Wealth Advisor in developing and managing a client book. You will provide effective client service, contribute to business development, and participate in sales activities within a collaborative team.

You will identify new opportunities, utilize product knowledge, and work with specialists to deepen client relationships while delivering personalized wealth solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in the securities industry.
• Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO (IIROC).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management.
• Exceptional client service skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and gather additional assets.
• Leverage product knowledge to identify opportunities within existing client base.
• Collaborate with Advisor and Total Wealth Specialists to deepen client relationships.
• Prepare, analyze, and present reports and recommendations to clients; develop client communications and marketing materials.
• Lead and coach other associates on the team and branch.
• Review and streamline administrative processes and ensure logs for tracking.
