Job summary

RBC in Vaughan, Canada is seeking a Manager, Practice Enablement for the NorthEast Ontario region to lead the delivery of exceptional client experiences by guiding Investment Counsellor teams, overseeing administration and operations, and driving best practices across Wealth Management. This role emphasizes coaching, talent development, change management, and collaboration with National Office Partners.

37.5 hours weekly, full-time, located in Vaughan, with opportunities to influence client

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing and developing people, leading large teams to exceptional outcomes.
• Experience leading and driving engagement through change management and a passion for problem solving.
• Leadership experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services.
• Exceptional communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Organization, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience in assisting wealth management teams and client facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Coach Investment Counsellors' teams to achieve objectives and foster growth.
• Foster effective relationships and lead issue resolution within teams.
• Share best practices across the regional team and support head office change initiatives.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, mentoring, and training for new members.
• Manage annual performance cycle and create development opportunities for promotions.
• Monitor risk alerts and ensure documents are actioned.
• Oversee regional office operations and facilities.
• Resolve operational issues and provide escalation support where needed.
• Create an engaging, high-performing culture and recognise excellence.
• Develop capacity planning and succession plans across staff.
