Job summary

BMO is seeking a skilled investment advisor to provide wealth and investment-related sales and service to customers and prospects in Canada. You will advise on strategies and products that meet clients’ objectives, and you will fulfill sales and service activities in line with approved procedures.

You will identify opportunities for referrals, stay current on market trends, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering professional service and protecting customer

Qualifications

• Experience providing wealth and investment-related sales and service to customers or prospects.
• Knowledge of investment products and ability to identify opportunities for referrals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients.
• Understanding of regulatory environment related to investments and banking products.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and advise on wealth and investment strategies and products.
• Proactively contact customers to discuss investment opportunities and enhance customer experience.
• Stay informed about market trends, investment products, and regulatory changes.
• Provide professional quality service for customer inquiries, issues and requests.
• Achieve sales targets with a focus on appropriate investment products.
• Escalate complex issues to senior managers as needed.
• Complete documentation after interactions to ensure accurate processing.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.
• Identify and report suspicious activity in line with AML and FCAC requirements.
