Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused investment and wealth advisor in Canada. You will understand customer needs, advise on strategies and products, and drive sales while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

You will identify opportunities, refer complex cases to specialists, and stay informed about market trends and regulatory requirements to serve customers effectively.

Qualifications

• Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course / IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and provide wealth/investment sales and service to customers or prospects.
• Advise customers on wealth/investment strategies and products meeting objectives.
• Achieve sales targets with a focus on investment products and manage referrals as needed.
• Maintain compliance with anti-money laundering and FCAC requirements and document interactions.
• Stay informed about market trends and regulatory environment related to products and services.
