A leading water treatment company is seeking a Water Treatment Sales Consultant in Montreal. This full-time remote role involves serving existing clients and developing new ones through lead generation and promoting services. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sales experience, strong communication skills, and a mechanical aptitude. Qualifications

Water Treatment Sales Consultant

Join Chem‑Aqua, the water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, a privately‑owned specialty chemicals company with over $1 B in annual sales. This remote position supports our growth in the Greater Montreal market.

Responsibilities

• Serve existing accounts, obtain orders, and develop new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
• Lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting to perform all sales activities in the assigned territory.
• Promote and sell maintenance services to new and existing Chem‑Aqua customers.
• Hands‑on servicing of accounts: chemical testing, calibration, repair of chemical feed equipment, and visual system inspections.
• Schedule service and sales calls and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Identify new business needs and opportunities and develop customized solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; College Degree preferred.
• Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health and safety, or secondary disinfection preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Leadership, organizational, and management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with remote teams.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Highly motivated self‑starter.
• Ability to perform physical work in HVAC, cooling tower, or boiler environments, including exposure to chemicals, noise, hot and cold temperatures, and inclement weather.
• Good physical ability, frequent walking to and from work sites.
• Valid driver’s licence and acceptable vehicle record.
• Resident of the Montreal area.
