The Water Treatment Plant Assistant Operator is responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and
monitoring of the community's water treatment and distribution systems to ensure the delivery of safe,
potable drinking water to the residents of the First Nation, in compliance with all relevant federal,
provincial, and First Nation standards and regulations. This role requires adherence to strict water
quality protocols and a commitment to protecting public health. They will assist community members
with ensuring that the water quality is of good quality suitable for drinking and assist community
members with the filtration and cleaning of their portable water jugs on day-to-day basis.
