Are you ready to launch or elevate your career in water treatment? We are seeking a motivated and curious operator to join our tight-knit team at one of Canada's most distinctive water treatment facilities — a Class IV plant located on CFB Wainwright, serving both the military base and the community of Wainwright, Alberta.
This is not your average operator role. Our plant uniquely combines time-tested conventional treatment (flocculation, clarification, and multimedia filtration) with state-of-the-art Veolia micro-filtration membranes — giving you hands-on experience with the full spectrum of water treatment technology. You will be mentored, supported, and set up for success from day one.

Schedule & Compensation
Training Period: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM — a structured onboarding period to get you fully confident in the role.
Ongoing Schedule: 8 days on / 6 days off rotation — 10-hour shifts, averaging 80 hours over 2 weeks, starting on Tuesdays. Enjoy stretches of consecutive days off that many standard jobs simply can't offer.
On-Call Rotation: After training, you will participate in an after-hours callout rotation — compensated accordingly.

Relocation support: Travelling and accommodation compensation may be available for candidates who need to relocate or commute to Wainwright.
Safety & Equipment
Your safety is paramount. All required PPE is provided by the company. A boot allowance of $175/year covers your steel-toed safety footwear. All safety training certifications are either recognized as an asset or will be fully provided — including Confined Space, First Aid, Fall Arrest, TDG, and Chlorine Handling.
