Job summary

Denison Mines Corp. seeks a Water Treatment Operator to oversee monitoring, operation, and maintenance of water treatment facilities at the Wheeler River Uranium Project - Phoenix Deposit.

You will sample water, manage chemical inventories, and ensure compliance with environmental permits and safety protocols. The role requires a Class 3 Wastewater and a Class 4 Water Treatment Operator Certificate, plus 7 years’ experience; remote site experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate required.
• Valid Class 4 Water Treatment Operator Certificate required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in water treatment systems, preferably remote.
• Familiarity with Membrane Bioreactor Technology is an asset.
• Proficiency with SAP, CMMS and SCADA systems would be an asset.
• Solid proficiency with MS Office Suite and willingness to learn other technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct water sampling, testing, and quality control to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Perform preventive and basic corrective maintenance on pumps, filters, chemical dosing systems, and control panels.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
• Assist trades personnel and contractors with repairs and installations.
