Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related Engineering Technology program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, if required.
  • Ability to travel or participate in field assignments, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with engineering analysis and project tasks.
  • Support field assignments and site visits.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technologists.
  • Contribute to project activity and data collection as needed.

The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Aide to join our Water Resources team in our Winnipeg office.

This position is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills.

Students may have opportunities to participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits, report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration depending on project requirements and business needs.
