KGS Group, an employee‑owned engineering consulting firm, invites applications for an Engineering Aide in Winnipeg. You will gain hands‑on experience alongside engineers, technologists and project managers on diverse municipal projects.

As a student in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology, you’ll develop technical and professional skills, participate in field assignments and site visits, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment within Canada.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering or related Engineering Technology program.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Driver's license and access to a vehicle, if required.
  • Willingness to travel or participate in field assignments, if required.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineers on projects and analyses.
  • Assist with field assignments, site visits and reports.
  • Develop technical, professional and interpersonal skills through mentorship.

The Role

We are looking for anEngineering Aide to join our Municipal team in our Winnipeg office.

This position is designed to provide meaningful, hands‑on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills.

Students may have opportunities to participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits, report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration depending on project requirements and business needs.
