Job summary

KGS Group is seeking an Engineering Aide to join the Commercial Mechanical & Electrical team in Winnipeg.

This role provides hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers to develop technical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Technology program.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers and technologists on projects in Winnipeg.
  • Participate in project work, technical reviews, field assignments and site visits as required.
  • Support report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration with other teams.

The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Aide to join our Commercial Mechanical & Electrical team in our Winnipeg office.

This position is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills.

Students may have opportunities to participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits, report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration depending on project requirements and business needs.
