Job summary

KGS Group in Winnipeg is seeking an Engineering Aide to join our Structural team. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment, working with experienced engineers, technologists and project managers to gain exposure to a range of projects.

You will participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related Engineering Technology program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Commitment to quality and continuous learning.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, if required.

This position is designed to provide meaningful, hands‑on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills.

Students may have opportunities to participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits, report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration depending on project requirements and business needs.
