Job summary

KGS Group is seeking an Environmental Engineering Aide to join our Winnipeg office. You will work beside licensed engineers and technologists on a variety of consulting projects, gaining hands-on experience in environmental engineering, site visits, field assignments and report preparation.

This co-op/entry-level role focuses on developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team, with mentorship and opportunities to participate in project activities

The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Aide to join our Environmental team in our Winnipeg office.

This position is designed to provide meaningful, hands‑on experience in a professional engineering consulting environment. Working alongside experienced engineers, technologists and project managers, you will gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing technical, professional and interpersonal skills.

Students may have opportunities to participate in project work, technical reviews, engineering analysis, field assignments, site visits, report preparation and multidisciplinary collaboration depending on project requirements and business needs.

  • Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or relatedEngineering Technology program

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to quality and continuous learning
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, if required
  • Ability to travel or participate in field assignments, if required
