Job summary

Worley is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Water Resources Engineer to join our Environmental & Sustainability team in Canada. Calgary or Vancouver candidates will plan and deliver water management solutions across diverse sectors.

You will model hydrology and hydraulics, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams to meet client needs. You will work with experienced professionals, develop your technical skills, and contribute to sustainable outcomes while enjoying hybrid work arrangements

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with water resources focus.
3–7 years of consulting or water resources experience.
Experience with water resources projects in mining, industrial, municipal, environmental, energy, or chemical sectors.
Proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of water resources projects across mining, industrial, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support studies and project development.
Develop and apply water resources models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, GoldSim, SWMM, and PCSWMM.
Assist with watershed assessments, flood studies, drainage evaluations, and stormwater planning.
Prepare technical reports and client deliverables meeting Worley’s standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage scope, schedule, and budgets.
Support business development and client relationship activities.
