Culligan seeks an energetic residential sales professional to promote water treatment products and deliver engaging demonstrations to homeowners. You will generate leads, conduct effective presentations, and guide customers through pre- and post-sale support, including water testing and technical explanations.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, strong customer service, and community involvement, with paid training and a clear path for advancement within Culligan.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary education in Marketing or a related field is an asset.
• Prior experience with residential territories is an asset.
• Experience in the water industry or residential sales is an asset.
• A versatile self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, work ethic, strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and friendly customer service demeanour is a must.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and own transportation.
• Good work ethic and attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sell water treatment applications to residential customers in a straightforward and professional manner.
• Execute Culligan’s proven sales presentation process while completing the full product demonstration with every potential customer.
• Seek out self-generated new customer leads and initiate sales calls to potential customers to maintain sales quotas.
• Generate leads from referrals, print advertising, etc.
• Respond to current customers’ needs as requested.
• Follow up with new customers pre-installation and post-sale of product.
• Discuss all products on a clearly understood level, answer customers’ questions, and perform the technical aspects of the job (water testing, etc.)
• Become known in the community through involvement in the local Chamber of Commerce and/or other civic organizations.
• Set personal performance goals and be creative in your attempts to achieve them.
• Communicate with the Sales Manager on leads and scheduled appointments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
