Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an Operations Assistant for Watches and Fine Jewelry to support boutique operations and the team. The role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, upholding quality standards, and ensuring smooth merchandise movement while delivering an exceptional client experience.

You will respond to client inquiries, assist on the sales floor, and help with aftersales follow-up. The position requires collaboration across teams and physical capability for stocking tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail operations/stock experience with shipping/receiving.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong written and verbal communication.

The Watches and Fine Jewelry Operations Assistant supports boutique operations and the Watches and Fine Jewelry team. This in-store role helps maintain inventory accuracy, quality standards, and smooth merchandise movement while contributing to an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and colleague inquiries, support sales-floor needs, and assist with client service and aftersales follow-up.
• Inspect incoming merchandise, manage inventory counts and price changes, and coordinate incoming, outgoing, and inter-boutique transfers.
• Maintain required documentation, reconcile invoices, manage supplies and orders, and follow boutique operating procedures.
• Keep boutique and back-of-house areas organized, support uniform and packaging needs, and coach and support Heart of House team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of retail operations and/or stock experience, with strong shipping and receiving knowledge.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and able to lift approximately 15-20 pounds.
• Available to work in-store to support boutique opening and closing, inventory receiving and shipping, and sales-floor needs; fluent English required, French an asset.
