Job summary

Brobston Group LLC is seeking an Operations Associate for Les Cours Mont-Royal in Montreal. You will support daily store operations, assist with omnichannel order fulfilment, and ensure excellent customer experiences on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include processing POS transactions, cash handling, inventory prep, and visual merchandising support. The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a service‑oriented approach in a luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably luxury and customer-facing.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Service desk or client-facing experience with exceptional customer service.
• Strong service orientation and ability to multitask in a team.
• Good communication and ability to calmly assist customers during busy periods.

Summary

The Operations Associate supports daily store operations at Les Cours Mont-Royal, focusing on customer service, accurate POS transactions, omni-channel order fulfilment and general store maintenance. The role assists with e-commerce and BOPIS order picking, cash handling, inventory preparation and visual merchandising as required. This position provides flexible cross-functional support to ensure consistent standards and an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Process client transactions accurately through the POS and manage daily cash handling (open/close registers, deposits).
• Collect and maintain client contact information and support the service desk to resolve basic client inquiries and elevate when needed.
• Support omni services including picking e-commerce and IST orders and assist with BOPIS operations.
• Perform on-the-floor logistics (markdowns, re-ticketing, re-tagging) and assist with returns and restocking.
• Maintain store presentation and assist visual team with seasonal changes, displays and special events.
• Assist with seasonal inventory preparations and counts and support ad-hoc operational projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment and in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management in retail.
• Service desk or client-facing experience providing exceptional customer service is preferred.
• Strong service orientation, interest in retail technology, ability to multitask and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication skills and the ability to calmly manage and assist customers during busy periods.
