Job summary

Birks in Montreal is seeking a Watch Box Specialist to join a luxury retail team. The role involves data reporting, system audits, and collaboration with stores and IT to enhance usability, while delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants should have at least 2 years in retail sales (luxury jewelry preferred) and 2 years of clerical experience, with strong English and French communication skills and proficiency in Outlook and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of office administration or clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Upload weekly reports of sold items into the system and interpret data to inform decisions.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data through audits and validation checks.
• Collaborate with stores and IT to improve the system usability.
• Create various statistical reports and manage large data volumes efficiently.
• Provide ongoing training on the Watch Box system.
• Maintain a professional attitude and conduct with integrity.
• Comply with company guidelines and data privacy.
• Assist team members and build effective working relationships.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete ad hoc clerical documents when needed.

To do so, the Watch Box Specialist will be expected to…

• Upload weekly reports of sold items into the system and interpret the complex data in order to make appropriate data-driven decisions
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data through regular audits and validation checks
• Collaborate closely with stores and the IT team to make the system more user-friendly.
• Create various statistical reports and be able to manage the large volume efficiently
• Provide ongoing training on the Watch Box system
• Always maintain a professional attitude and conduct business with integrity
• Comply with all Company guidelines, policies and procedures while continuously ensuring data privacy
• Offer assistance to with team members as well as build effective working relationships
• Offer excellent customer service
• Complete ad hoc clerical documents when needed
