Job summary

Birks is seeking a Key Holder/Sales Advisor for the Fairview, Pointe-Claire store to support the leadership team, drive sales, and ensure a premium shopping experience for every client.

You will lead on the sales floor, open/close the store, manage cash and inventory, coach teammates, and uphold presentation standards while delivering exceptional service in a luxury retail environment. English proficiency is required to communicate with staff outside Quebec.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably luxury/jewelry or premium customer service.

As a Key Holder/Sales Advisorat our Fairview, Pointe-Claire store, you will support the store leadership team in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence. Acting as a leader on the sales floor, you will help motivate the team, oversee daily store operations, and ensure a luxury shopping experience for every client. Key Holders are responsible for opening and closing the store, managing cash and inventory procedures, and serving as a trusted resource for both clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting client relationships
• Support the achievement of sales and performance goals
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help coach and motivate team members on the sales floor
• Ensure store presentation standards are maintained
• Support inventory management, cash handling, and loss prevention initiatives

This role is ideal for a customer-focused retail professional with leadership experience and a passion for luxury retail.

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a regular basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec.
