Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a sorter/labourer for our Regina, SK location. The role involves sorting recyclable materials and assisting with overall yard operations, ensuring contaminants are redirected as needed.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate, understand and respond to questions, instructions, signs, signals and safety training.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Must be able to perform repetitive/physical tasks for extended periods and lift items up to 25lb.
• Must be able to work shifts as required.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Sort recyclable materials and assist with yard operations.
• Remove unacceptable materials and redirect as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and surroundings.
• Pull contaminants from sorting line.
• Inspect materials and place items into designated areas.
• Operate in a safe manner in accordance with company policies.
• Report system problems to Supervisor promptly.
