Job summary

EFS-plastics Inc. is seeking a Wash Line Operator for our Listowel, Ontario facility. The role involves monitoring automated processing lines, performing quality checks, and supporting mechanical repairs.

This full-time position includes weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday 7:00pm–7:00am) with one 8-hour shift during the week. We value reliability and a positive attitude, and offer cross-training opportunities, a collaborative team environment, and solid benefits as part of a growing recycling

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge.
• Forklift, Health & Safety, and First Aid certificates.

• Open and adaptable to daily feedback on performance.
• Able to plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
• Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fully automated processing lines.
• Perform frequent quality checks on products.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Assist with some mechanical repairs; maintain work area to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Notify the shift lead or management with any equipment related issues.
• Assist in the training of new operators.
• Additional duties as assigned.

$20.00 - $25.66 per hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Wash Line Operator will primarily be responsible for monitoring processing lines, performing frequent quality checks on products as well as assisting with some mechanical repairs. They will also participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
