Job summary

EFS-plastics Inc. in Listowel, ON is seeking a Wash Line Operator to monitor processing lines, perform quality checks and assist with repairs. This full-time role requires weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7:00am-7:00pm) and an additional weekday 8-hour shift.

Start date as soon as possible; wage $20.00–$25.66 per hour, with benefits. Join a growing recycling company focused on reducing plastic waste and manufacturing high-quality resin pellets.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge required.
• Forklift, Health & Safety, and First Aid certificates preferred.
• Positive attitude and engagement in work.
• Able to accept daily feedback and stay adaptable.
• Strong planning and organization of multiple tasks.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fully automated processing lines.
• Perform frequent quality checks on products.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects.
• Assist with some mechanical repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area per standards.
• Notify shift lead/management of equipment issues.
• Assist in training new operators.
• Additional duties as assigned.

POSITION: Wash Line Operator - New

STATUS: Full-Time; Weekends

SHIFT: Saturday and Sunday 7:00am - 7:00pm, with one 8 hour shift during the week

START DATE: As soon as possible.

SALARY: $20.00 - $25.66 per hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Wash Line Operator will primarily be responsible for monitoring processing lines, performing frequent quality checks on products as well as assisting with some mechanical repairs. They will also participate in continuous quality improvement projects.

• Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge.
• Forklift, Health & Safety, and First Aid certificate.

• Able to plan, prioritize and organize multiple tasks.
• Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards.
• Notify the shift lead or management with any equipment related issues.
