Homes by Avi is seeking a professional, motivated, and experienced individual to join our team as a Warranty Technician. Homes by Avi has been building family homes since 1978, with home building divisions in Edmonton, Calgary and Texas.

Warranty Technician

You will work directly under the leadership of the Warranty Manager to provide exemplary warranty service to customers who have taken possession of their home.

You are an individual who is highly organized and has a positive, flexible, “can-do” attitude. Providing exceptional customer service to both your internal and external customers is effortlessness.

You have an extensive and well-rounded knowledge of construction practices and home repair, and can pivot from task to task while balancing ever-changing priorities. Solving problems and investigating issues is a challenge that you enjoy.

You are an individual who is self-motivated, focused, and works well independently while providing support to the construction team.

What You Will Do

• Effectively communicate Homes by Avi's warranty program and expectations to home owners
• Accurately investigate issues and provide professional, courteous and timely responses to customer inquiries
• Ensure outstanding deficiencies are resolved in a timely manner and within budget
• Coordinate the scheduling of trades for warranty work in conjunction with the homeowners
• Perform light carpentry, paint touch ups, and other minor repairs in finished homes
• Ensure the customers file and the database are kept up to date with accurate and complete information

Your Qualifications – The Must Have’s

• 3+ years of direct experience in new home construction or renovations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage high priority/urgent requests, adapt to changing priorities
• Confident conflict resolution abilities
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
