ProFit Executive Search is seeking a detail-oriented candidate to handle warranty claims and investigations in Mississauga. The role emphasizes thorough documentation, collaboration with operations and customer service, and clear communication with customers, movers, and drivers to determine claim validity and resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, with a strong focus on assessing damage, reviewing supporting documentation, and ensuring fair processing of claims.

• 25% on phone, 75% emailing and investigating warranty claims.
• Investigate claims submitted by customers, reviewing documentation such as inventory lists, photos of damages, and statements from movers.
• Conduct interviews with customers, movers, and other involved parties to gather relevant information.
• Assess the extent of damage or loss to goods and property.
• Determine whether claims are valid based on policies, legal requirements, and insurance coverage.
• Ensure all claims are properly documented and filed claims.
• Maintain detailed records of the claims process, including communications with the customer, evidence gathered, and resolution status.
• Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure proper handling of claims.
• Communicate effectively with the moving crews or drivers involved to gather relevant information regarding the cause of the incident.
• Manage the payment process for approved claims, including issuing checks, arranging for repairs, or organizing replacements.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level management.
• Work to minimize company liability by ensuring that all claims are processed thoroughly and fairly.
