The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world's largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol.

Under the direction of department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, safe case handling, receiving, storing, preparing, checking, and shipping functions either manually or by operating material handling equipment, including rideable equipment.

We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our London Retail Service Centre located at 955 Wilton Grove Road, London, Ontario. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to showing up and completing the assigned tasks. Above all else, we love Warehouse Workers who don't mind lifting heavy things.

About the Role:

  • Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers
  • Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40 lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60 lbs (27 kg)
  • Required to stand for lengthy periods of time with repetitive movement such as reaching, bending, twisting, and walking
  • Cleaning up accidental spills, stuff drops on occasion; we all pitch in to be safe
  • Manually unload cases of product from containers and trailers

About You:

  • Students are welcome to apply but may need to work 37.25 hours per week plus occasional overtime.
  • You are required to complete a criminal record check that is paid for by the LCBO
  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English, as well be proficient in numbers
