Warehouse Associate (Full-Time) - Barrie, ON

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, in this position you will be responsible for performing all warehouse functions to ensure a smooth flow of products into and from the Distribution Centre (DC).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods, unpack, stock bins and shelves and place in proper location within the warehouse
  • Order selections and administrative duties, such as creating special shipping labels and end of day closing responsibilities
  • Sort and store goods, prepare materials for shipping
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Proficiency with return of medical equipment when necessary
  • Cleaning/testing of oxygen equipment and Home Medical Equipment
  • Assembly of Home Medical Equipment
  • Able to print and pick HME orders using Equip system
  • Inventory control for all HME, O2 and CPAP equipment.
  • Back up assistance to dispatch coordinator
  • Store transfers and outsourcing of equipment

Qualifications:

  • Work accurately with a high attention to detail
  • A team player who is able to work within tight deadlines
  • Computer proficiency- JDE and Equip programs an asset
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse or related environment
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions

  • Safety conscious
  • Able to pick and pack items up to 75lbs. in weight
