Job summary

GEODIS Canada is seeking a Training Supervisor to design and implement training plans for warehouse operations. You will monitor weekly training activities, develop metrics to measure effectiveness, and adjust content to meet objectives.

The role also includes supervising employees, from interviewing and hiring to performance appraisal and discipline, and compiling management reports with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant training experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience training on warehouse equipment (electric pallet jacks, reach truck forklift, sit-down forklift, order picker).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develops training plans and processes for Training Coordinators to implement.
• Monitors weekly training activities to ensure completion.
• Develops metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and updates content accordingly.
• Supervises employees: interviewing, hiring, training, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining.
• Compiles reports to management with recommendations for training improvements.
