Our industry-leading client, operating within the digital print media and distribution industry, is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for their local Calgary branch!

The successful candidate will be supervising a team of two Warehouse Associates and spearheading responsibilities including managing shipping and receiving operations, overseeing inventory control, handling warehouse supply procurement, processing customer and branch orders, and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all customer and branch transfer orders are accurate and deadlines are met on a daily basis.
• Delegating time-sensitive orders to team members as required.
• Ensuring goods are properly packaged for shipping.
• Monitor performance of warehouse and shipping staff to ensure goals are met.
• Work alongside the Branch Administrator to resolve any internal and customer-related issues and keep operations organized.
• Keeping track of inventory and ordering warehouse supplies as needed.
• Cleaning and organization of the shipping area.
• Providing high-quality leadership by establishing clear expectations.
• Considering and implementing solutions for continuous improvement for warehouse operations.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Complete an RCMP check

Experience:

• 3-5+ years working in a warehouse environment
• 2+ years of managing a team of warehouse employees
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience

• Strong leadership skills
• Time management
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to manage stress
• Ability to work extra hours when required
• Ability to lift 50lbs and over frequently
• Strong computer proficiency

Base Salary:

• $45k – $50k

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime as required

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote and requires on-site presence.

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
