Job summary

Rocky Mountain Soap Company in Canmore, Alberta, is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to support inventory and warehouse operations at our Canmore workshop.

You will safely load/unload, maintain inventory accuracy, and assist with cycle counts while upholding a clean, organized workspace in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Detail-oriented with good task completion.

• Intermediate English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload skids and boxes manually or with a forklift.
• Ensure inventory accuracy digitally and physically.

The position

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for carrying out inventory and warehouse duties utilizing knowledge in Rocky product lines, product codes and packaging.

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm at our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta.

What you'll be doing

• Safely load and unload skids and boxes of products, either manually and/or with a forklift
• Ensurethe accuracy of inventory both digitally and physically
• Supportthe Warehouse Supervisor to complete cycle counts
• Execute timely restocking of warehouse shelves to ensure the availability of theinventory at all times
• Some lifting of medium to heavy weight containers up to 50lbs
• Uphold a clean and organized work environment, including the maintenance of equipment and workspace cleanliness

• Capable of handing physically demanding work and must be comfortable lifting and handling weight up to 50lbs (23kg)
• Previous forklift experience is an asset
• Goal/task-oriented with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, self-motivated, self-starter
• Intermediate written and spoken English skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to learn and adapt easily to new methods
• Competent in basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Ability to work in a highly scented environment
