Job summary

Rocky Mountain Soap Company in Canmore, Alberta, is seeking a Shipping Specialist to pick and pack our natural products and send them to customers nationwide. This full-time permanent role runs five days per week, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at our Canmore workshop.

You will review orders from our e-commerce, retail, and partnerships channels, pick items, pack to Rocky standards, and ship via UPS or Canada Post while maintaining the inventory system.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Able to work in a highly scented environment.

Job description

The position

The Shipping Specialist is responsible for picking and packing our amazing natural products and sending them out to our Rocky fans nationwide.

This is a full-time permanent position working fivedays per week Monday through Saturday, from 8:00am - 4:00pm at our Workshop in Canmore, Alberta. The specific days worked will vary within this schedule.

What you'll be doing

• Review orders received from our sales channels (E-Commerce, Retail, Strategic Partnerships)
• Pick product orders from inventory ensuring accuracy
• Pack orders according to Rocky standards
• Ship orders and process online via UPS/Canada Post
• Manage inventory control system
• Clean and maintain work station
