Rocky Mountain Soap Company is hiring a Lead Product Advisor to run daily store operations and manage the customer and employee experience when leadership is unavailable.

This permanent full-time role requires a 40-hour work week, with at least two closing shifts and availability on three weekend days. You will train staff, uphold Rocky’s service standards, and drive sales performance while keeping our natural product ethos at the forefront.

The position

The Lead Product Advisor is responsible to lead the day-to-day operations of the retail store and the customer and employee experience within, in the absence of other store leadership. Their accountability is to sustain the smooth operations of the store and to ensure that the customer and employee experience reflects the standards, culture and values of Rocky, always.

This is a permanent full-time position requiring a minimum availability of 40 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

• Consistently set the example by demonstrating personal customer service and selling skills aligned to Rocky’s service standards and expectations
• As directed by the Store Leader, utilize Rocky tools to train and develop team members
• Encourage, support, and redirect the team to ensure the best possible experience for our customers
• Participate in the completion of in-store presentation to defined brand standard to create an optimal and consistent shopping experience
• Share customer feedback and observations to foster continuous improvement
• Address customer concerns and complaints readily and with intent
• Support, guide and genuinely connect with team members and help create a safe space for contribution from everyone
• Ensure the safe operation of the store and the safety and wellbeing of the team and customers
• Participate in all inventory management processes
• Report quality issues timely and ensure all products on sales floor meet our brand standards for quality and presentation
• Strive to drive revenue and performance metrics including revenue, ATV, and conversion
