Job summary

Komatsu Canada in Sudbury, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to support mining and industrial operations. You will manage incoming/outgoing parts, maintain inventory accuracy, operate forklifts, and ensure correct parts reach customers promptly.

This hands-on role reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and involves 5x2 shift, on-call rotation, and strict safety practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, parts, or inventory management experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory, documentation and system updates.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP experience is considered an asset.
  • Flexible to participate in on-call rotation and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Champion a safe work environment by promoting safe practices daily.
  • Support customers and internal teams with parts inquiries, order processing, and inventory transactions.
  • Receive, inspect, ship, and track parts and freight with accuracy and quality standards.
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move inventory safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including cycle counts, stock locations, and system updates.
  • Prepare shipments with packaging, labeling, documentation, and export requirements.

We're looking for a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to join our Sudbury team and play a critical role in supporting mining and industrial operations across the region. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing parts, maintaining inventory accuracy, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring customers receive the right parts when they need them. Reports to:Warehouse Operations Manager
Shift: 5x2- Monday-Friday 8h/day and on call as need
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required

Key Job Responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy when handling inventory, documentation, and system updates
  • Forklift certification is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; SAP experience is considered an asset
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation and adapt to changing operational needs
