Komatsu Mining Corp. in Ontario is seeking an Account Manager for Hard Rock Underground Mining. You will own key customer relationships, develop solutions, and drive growth in Canada’s dynamic mining region.

The role requires travel up to 75% across Canada, a hybrid onsite/work model, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver value for customers and Komatsu.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in business, marketing, or communications is an asset
• Strong knowledge of underground hard rock mining equipment with basic mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical understanding
• Experience in underground mining applications is an advantage
• Proven success in customer relations, account management, or technical sales
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and build value‑driven proposals
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across Canada

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, managing all aspects of the customer relationship
• Prepare and deliver quotations for products, contracts, and parts supply
• Resolve customer challenges quickly, including product availability, planning, and invoicing
• Build strong internal partnerships with sales, service, parts, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and conditions
• Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction
• Present market trends, product updates, and technical information during customer and product review meetings

Reports to: Hard Rock Commercial Manager
Shift:5x2- Monday-Friday
Safety Sensitive: No- RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 75% travel within Canada
Relocation:This position does not offer relocation

Key Job Responsibilities
