Job summary

Weir in Lively, ON, is seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver to verify shipments, handle materials, and maintain accurate inventory on a day shift. You’ll work onsite and contribute to efficient warehouse operations.

The role requires about one year of related experience, basic Excel/Outlook proficiency, and a commitment to safety. Overtime is available and shift is 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

What you’ll do

• Shipment Verification: Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments daily, ensuring accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and orders to maintain precise records.

• Material Handling: Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, and products to appropriate departments or storage areas, using manual methods or equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

• I__nventory Management: Maintain organized inventory by sorting and placing items on racks, shelves, or designated bins, ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

• Shipment Preparation: Prepare shipments by assembling, labeling, packaging items, and completing necessary documentation to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.

• Role Dynamics: The successful candidate will be self-motivated, working onsite during day shifts (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), with approximately 1 year of relevant experience. Daily tasks involve hands‑on material handling and documentation accuracy.

• Success Metrics: Success will be measured by accuracy in shipment processing, maintaining organized inventory, and adherence to safety standards.
