Job summary

Winpak is seeking a Process Specialist to support day-to-day Warehouse operations at our Winnipeg facility. You will help ensure accurate storage, movement of material, and coordination with Shipping, Receiving, Recycling, and Material Handling teams.

You will drive continuous improvement, maintain regulatory compliance (SQF, GMP, ISO 9001, CTPAT), and assist in KPI achievement while collaborating with Production, Marketing and other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
• Proficiency with PC-based software (Word/Excel) and production management tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Warehouse departments follow SQF, GMP, ISO 9001, and CTPAT regulations and audit guidelines.
• Review SIPOC and FEMA yearly updates for the four Warehouse departments.
• Address 8D non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Upload and maintain the Logistics SharePoint site with department information.
• Update SOPs and SWP; ensure changes are communicated to Warehouse staff.
• Maintain training records and training matrices; ensure yearly GMP training.
• Review safety incidents with supervisors to prevent recurrence.
• Identify process inefficiencies and material flow issues for improvement.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with departments to resolve issues.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication across the organization.
• Support ISO 9001-2015, SQF, IMS certifications and internal quality standards.
• Assist department manager in establishing goals, objectives and KPIs; contribute to achievement.
• Follow up on internal and external customer complaints regarding Warehouse operations.
