Job summary

Winpak Winnipeg is seeking a Project Sales Specialist to join the Customer Service (Latin America) team. The role supports Latin American customers, coordinates with internal departments, and drives project execution from order to delivery.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, with strong data entry and Microsoft Office skills, and 3+ years in customer service or sales support within manufacturing environments. This is an on-site role in Winnipeg, MB.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Ability to perform basic math and convert units.
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Service or Sales Support.
• 2+ years of experience proficiently using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• 2+ years of experience with data entry requiring high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between Latin American customers and internal departments (e.g. Purchasing, Traffic, Production, Logistics).
• Manage customer projects ensuring they are completed on time.
• Handle customer complaints and requests in a professional manner.
• Process product requests for all Latin American customers.
• Work with customers on planning and forecasting of products.
• Correlate, validate, and process all incoming orders; coordinate shipments with Traffic to ensure proper arrival and departure.
• Review and ensure that all exports and customer documents are accurate.
• Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams to minimize customer material shortages.
• Facilitate meetings to review and plan upcoming customer needs and launch new products.
• Organize and implement actions for new product development and product structure changes.

Job description

Winpak Division is seeking a Project Sales Specialist to join their Customer Service (Latin America) department based out of Winnipeg. In this role you will provide customer service to our Latin American customers, be involved in project development, manage customer requests, coordinate with our logistics teams, and assist in product development and quality assurance under the guidance of the Director of Latin America Sales.

This is a bilingual role that requires fluency in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  • Act as a liaison between Latin American customers and internal departments (e.g. Purchasing, Traffic, Production, Logistics etc)
  • Manage customer projects ensuring they are completed on time
  • Handle customer complaints and requests in a professional manner
• Account Management
  • Process product requests for all Latin American customers
  • Work directly with customers on planning and forecasting of products
• Logistics Coordination
  • Correlate, validate, and process all incoming orders in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinate shipments with the Traffic department to ensure proper arrival and departure of shipments
  • Review and ensure that all exports and customer documents are accurate
  • Collaborate with planning and supply chain teams from other Winpak business units to minimize customer material shortages
• Product Development
  • Facilitate meetings to review and plan upcoming customer needs and launch new products
  • Actively organize and implement actions for new product development and product structure changes

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Ability to perform basic math and convert units of measurement
• 3 + years of experience in Customer Service or Sales Support role
• 2 + years of experience proficiently using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• 2+ years of experience with data entry that required a high level of attention to detail for accurate documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• University and/or post - secondary education related to the position
• 3 + years of experience in related manufacturing environment
• 2 + years of experience managing a sales territory

Additional Information

• This position is full-time onsite and based in Murray Industrial Park in Winnipeg, MB.
• There is limited bus service to this location.
