Job summary

Geotech Drilling, a member of the ConeTec Group, is hiring a Warehouse Person/ Shipper Receiver in Prince George. You will manage inventory, coordinate shipments and support field operations, handling drilling materials and maintaining an organized warehouse to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 1–2 years in a warehouse/ logistics environment, strong computer skills (Word/Excel), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in warehouse, shipping/receiving or logistics.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in drilling, mining or construction is an asset.
• Valid Class 5/7 (N) driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Operations and Yard staff as required.
• Fill and complete requisitions promptly.
• Ensure documentation is complete and shared with parties.
• Assist in shipping, receiving and inventory management.
• Ensure rentals are available on request and track status.
• Process weekly and monthly reports on damages, returns and rentals.
• Ensure rentals are returned in a timely manner.
• Inspect incoming load requisitions for expected rentals.
• Maintain tracking for rentals and restocking needs.
• Sign in/out rental and internal kits.

Warehouse Person/ Shipper Receiver

We are looking for a Warehouse Person/ Shipper Receiver to manage inventory, coordinate shipments, and support field operations. This role involves handling drilling materials, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintain an organized warehouse to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Warehouse, Shipping/Receiving, Operations and Yard staff where required.
• Fill and complete requisitions in a timely manner.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and shared with appropriate parties.
• Assist in shipping, receiving and inventory management.
• Ensure internal and external rentals are available upon request.
• Process weekly and monthly reports including damages, returns and currently rented items.
• Ensure rentals are returned in a timely manner.
• Inspect incoming load requisitions for expected rentals.
• Maintain tracking mechanism for rentals.
• Create requisitions for rental/internal kits that require restocking.
• Conduct sign in/out of rental and internal kits.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/ receiving or logistics.
• Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
• Experience in drilling, mining, or construction industries is a strong asset.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks at hand
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Drilling experience in various methodologies such as Coring, Auguring and Air Rotary considered assets
• Knowledge of drilling equipment, related tooling and consumables
• Forklift experience considered an asset
• Must have valid Class 5/7 (N) or higher Driver's License

Rate:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience.

Schedule:

Working schedule is Monday- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
