Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a warehouse team member to join our distribution centre in Canada. You will ensure accurate, timely orders for customers and stores while supporting safe, efficient operations during an evening shift from 6pm to 2:30am.

A night premium applies, with additional weekend premium. This role involves assembling orders, loading pallets, processing returns, and maintaining strict safety and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Two-person lift required for weights exceeding 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Possible exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Alertness to other people and vehicles.
• Various shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders for shipment to customers.
• Load goods onto delivery vehicle in proper sequence as defined by trip sheet.
• Fill pick slots with merchandise from reserve area.
• Place returned merchandise in stock and move damaged products to recoup area.
• Document received merchandise and move merchandise from the receiving dock and place in proper slots.
• Follow safe work practices and company safety rules.
• Ensure required personal protective equipment is always worn.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Provide customers and stores with accurate and secure orders in a safe and timely manner. Fulfill all assigned duties in all areas of the RSC. Actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Available Shift: 6pm - 2:30am; Sunday to Thursday (Friday, Saturday off). $1.50 Night premium + 0.50 weekend premium
