Job summary

Sobeys is hiring an Overnight Warehouse Order Selector (Part Time) at the Sobeys David Sobey Retail Support Centre in Vaughan, Ontario. You will assemble orders for shipment to stores, maintain a safe work area, and perform duties across areas of the RSC on a night shift (11pm–7am) with weekend work.

Physical work is required, with lifting up to 88 lbs and two-person lifts for heavier items. This role offers a total rewards package including benefits, discounts, and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Partial High School background required.
• Must be able to perform physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Occasionally lift over 88 lbs; two-person lift for items over 50 lbs.

The Selector will provide customers and stores with accurate and secure orders in a timely and safe manner. The Selector will also fulfill all assigned duties in all areas of the RSC. Actively contributes to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

This position is on the night shift 11pm-7am, requiring working the weekends.

What you bring to the table:

• Partial High School
• Physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Occasionally lift over 88 lbs
• Two-person lift required for weights exceeding 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Possible exposure to extreme temperatures
• Alertness to other people and vehicles
• Various shifts including evenings and weekends
