Job summary

Alliance Door Products, a leading Canada/US door manufacturer and distributor, seeks a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator. This role supports shipping/receiving by picking orders, unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Requirements include forklift experience (REQUIRED), with Reach Truck preferred and Hyster experience a plus. The shift is Mon-Fri, 5:00am-1:30pm, with compensation of $21–$23 per hour and benefits such as extended

Qualifications

• Forklift experience REQUIRED.
• Reach truck forklift experience preferred.
• Hyster forklift experience would be an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels.
• Safely lift/carry/push/pull items up to 50 lbs. and handle up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail to prevent order errors.
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities.
• Good verbal and written communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping/receiving by picking orders (doors, hardware, materials).
• Unload inbound shipments and load customer trucks.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support order fulfillment and ensure correct items are picked.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the warehouse.

Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Position: Material Handler/Order Picker

Duties: This role is responsible for supporting our shipping and receiving department by picking orders (doors, hardware, door-related materials), unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, performing inventory counts and handling doors and door related materials.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm

Compensation (depending on experience): $21 to $23 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift experience REQUIRED
• Reach Truck Forklift experience preferred
• Hyster Forklift experience would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull items up to 50 lbs., as well as maneuver items up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities
• Good communication skills — verbal and written, for reporting issues or working with team members
• Prior door industry experience would be an asset
