Lynden Door, Inc. in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving. You will pick orders, unload shipments, load trucks, and perform inventory counts with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:30pm, with compensation of $21 to $23 per hour and benefits including extended medical, dental, RRSP and footwear reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is REQUIRED.
• Read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels.
• Ability to lift/carry, push/pull items up to 50 lbs and move items up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment.
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities.
• Good communication, both verbal and written.

Warehouse Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Position: Material Handler/Order Picker

Duties : This role is responsible for supporting our shipping and receiving department by picking orders (doors, hardware, door-related materials), unloading inbound shipments, loading customer trucks, performing inventory counts and handling doors and door related materials.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm

Compensation (depending on experience): $21 to $23 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Forklift experience REQUIRED
• Reach Truck Forklift experience preferred
• Hyster Forklift experience would be an asset
• Ability to read and interpret pick lists, job orders, and inventory labels
• Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull items up to 50 lbs., as well as maneuver items up to 100 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy to prevent errors in order fulfillment
• Basic math and counting skills for verifying quantities
• Good communication skills — verbal and written, for reporting issues or working with team members
• Prior door industry experience would be an asset
