Job summary

Fort Garry Industries Winnipeg is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the Manitoba distribution center team and ensure safe, efficient operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch. You will strive to deliver a high-quality customer experience and improve warehouse processes.

You will coach 20–30 staff, schedule work, coordinate deliveries, maintain inventory, and uphold our safety culture and customer service standards in a fast-paced, open environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of warehouse management experience with at least five years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in aftermarket or heavy-duty parts is preferred.
• Experience with inventory management software and warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 75–100 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations and support branch logistics, shipping, and inventory control while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Coach and manage a team of 20–30 employees including parts handlers, drivers, dispatchers, and shipper/receivers.
• Schedule and assign work, adjust priorities, and monitor operational goals.
• Coordinate deliveries, dispatch trucks, and communicate with drivers.
• Maintain an organized warehouse, plan layout, inspect equipment, and arrange repairs or replacements.
