Ryerson Canada is seeking a Material Handler in Richmond, BC to support daily staging, packing, and picking for shipments. You will operate forklifts and handle feedstock to meet customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm, with an hourly rate of $25.85–$28.00 based on experience and qualifications. The position is on-site in the Richmond branch, within a metal products environment that values safety and teamwork.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math and measuring skills required.
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.

Responsabilidades

• Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders.
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders.
• Packaging of material to customer requirements.
• Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift to move material as needed.
• Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer.
• Maximum productivity for finished goods creation.
• All other duties as assigned.

The expected hourly rate for this role is $25.85 to $28.00. The hourly rate is determined based on prior work experience and qualifications.
