Job summary

WestJet Group is hiring a Distribution Center Coordinator to support outbound and inbound warehouse operations at the Balzac Distribution Center. You will manage receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping using JDE and RF scanners, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with third-party caterers to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years in a warehouse setting, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset
• Experience with inventory management is an asset
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Experience using JDE and scanners is an asset
• Strong multitasking, decision-making and teamwork skills
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and maintain safety and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, put-away, order picking and shipping per established procedures
• Operate JDE inventory system and RF scanners
• Conduct regular inventory cycle counts
• Communicate with third-party caterers about shipping, delivery issues, substitutions, or product concerns
• Support, monitor and expedite product delivery to caterers on schedule
• Document transfers of bonded products for federal reporting
• Ensure on-time shipment to internal business units served by the DC
• Maintain the ability to work independently and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts; keep the workspace clean and safe
