Job summary

The Dufresne Group is seeking a 6-Month Contract Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Brampton location at 70 Great Lakes Dr. The role focuses on supporting warehousing, visual presentation, and customer service to ensure efficient store operations.

Responsibilities include receiving products, preparing shipments, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse tidy. The position runs Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience an asset.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work within retail hours.

• Provide efficient support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean.

6-Month Contract Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)

Brampton store located at 70 Great Lakes Dr.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
