Ashley Canada - The Dufresne Group is seeking a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) for our Guelph location. This part-time, on-site role supports visual presentation, warehousing and merchandising to help guests find the perfect home furnishings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Experience with MS Office and ability to learn in-house inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, and merchandising.
• Maintain store exterior and general maintenance.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.

Ashley Canada is currently seeking aWarehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)for our Guelphstore located at 389 Woodlawn Rd W.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
