Ashley Canada in Brampton is hiring a Part-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) to support visual presentation, stocking, and customer service at our Brampton store located at 70 Great Lakes Dr, Unit 149. The role requires ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work retail hours including weekends.

You will be part of a team delivering on-site merchandising and inventory accuracy with opportunities for growth and development within Ashley Canada.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience is an asset.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with MS Office and in-house inventory management system.
• Physically fit; able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, and merchandising.
• Maintain store exterior and general upkeep.
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments.
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery.
• Maintain inventory records and documentation.
• Load and unload freight trailers.

Ashley Canada is currently seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store)for our Brampton store located at 70 Great Lakes Dr.

This position is being posted to fill an immediate staffing need within the department. We are actively seeking qualified candidates who can step into the role and contribute to the team as soon as possible.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store) you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of visual presentation for our home furnishing products in our stores.

As a Warehouse Merchandise Handler (In Store), you will:

• Provide efficient and accurate support related to visual presentation, warehousing, customer service, pickups, movement of goods & merchandising
• Be responsible for store maintenance - including the exterior of the building
• Receive product and prepare outbound shipments
• Prepare product for floor placement or delivery
• Maintain and provide accurate inventory documentation
• Load and unload freight trailers
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 6 months to 1-year related experience an asset
• Ability to work during retail hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
• Experience with MS Office products and ability to learn in-house inventory management system
• Physically fit, able to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs.
